| Beschreibung | This is the binary release of Crack Attack! for BeOS, based on Linux sources, but with some BeOS specific patches and improvements. Originally Crack Attack! was written by Daniel R. Nelson. Package is roughly based on the Super Nintendo game "Tetris Attack". Slowly, your stack of colored blocks grows from the bottom, and you've got to make sure it never reaches the top. If it does, you lose. To eliminate blocks from the stack, line up at least three of one color, horizontally or vertically. Once you do, those blocks disappear, and put off slightly your inevitable demise. Requirements:3D graphics hardware acceleration support (works well with nVidia TNT/GF 3D driver by Rudolf Cornelissen) or at least software Mesa 6.2.1 and 2d graphics support. SDL (included in LibPak). Note: Sometimes CrackAttack! crashes on close, but it seems that it is a bug in nVidia TNT/GF 3D driver. # There is sound support now! # Sounds included. # If this version of CrackAttack! doesn't launch on ZETA with nVidia TNT/GF 3D driver try to use Mesa compiled for ZETA instead, then tell me about your success or failure. # Original version has GTK based GUI, but there is no GTK for BeOS, so CrackAttack! for BeOS hasn't got a GUI.
